About

The aim of this project is to investigate how environmental factors, particularly heat in the warming climate, affect road safety in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), and to identify the key determinants contributing to road crashes.

The findings from this research can support the refinement of traffic guidelines and codes of practice (e.g., targeted early‑warning messages for motorists), ultimately helping to reduce road accidents under a changing climate.
