This project examines how experiencing a mental disorder during the teenage years or early adulthood, impacts on the social and economic opportunities available over the lifecourse. The project uses large, longitudinal, community based-based datasets (such as the HILDA study, and the PATH project) to investigate potential socio-economic consequences such as education completion, employment opportunities and the quality of social relationships.
