The Ecstasy Check-up is a brief motivational intervention for regular ecstasy users that consists of personalised feedback. The feedback is based on a comprehensive assessment of an individual’s ecstasy use, associated problems, motivation, and self-efficacy for change.

The Ecstasy Check-up is a brief motivational intervention for regular ecstasy users that consists of personalised feedback. The feedback is based on a comprehensive assessment of an individual’s ecstasy use, associated problems, motivation, and self-efficacy for change.
This intervention is being compared to an educational control intervention in a randomized controlled trial. The project is a collaboration between researchers at CRAHW, the National Drug & Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC) UNSW, and the Queensland University of Technology.
Funding for this project is provided by the Naional Health & Medical Research Council Project Grant.
