About
Driving simulators provide a safe and controlled means for assessing driving behaviour, and potentially represent a cost efficient alternative to assessing at-risk drivers. However, little is known about the comparability of simulator performance to real world driving performance, particularly in older drivers. This study aims to develop a low-cost, desk-top virtual driving assessment and examine both relative and absolute validity in relation to a standard measure of on-road driving.
