Presenter:

Dr Mikkel Rasmussen is a leading physician in the field of psychiatry, and the head of psychiatry and social services for the Central Regio (one of five regions) in Demark. His work is primarily in emergency and acute psychiatry; with experience dealing with the entire spectre of psychiatric diagnoses. He also has medical experience in general practice, internal medicine, orthopaedics and neurology.

Mikkel’s vision is to be the public voice with focus on mental health and psychiatry in Denmark. As leader of political party, ’’Psychiatry List’’, he has unique insight into the Danish political and healthcare system.

Mikkel has recently been appointed as senior/leading consultant for the psychiatric hospital, Vejle, Denmark, to commence 1 May 2020.
