Dr Alison Calear receives NHMRC Career Development Fellowship

Congratulations to Dr Alison Calear who has received a Career Development Fellowship (CDF) from the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). The CDF is a highly competitive, four year fellowship that recognises and provides support for the most outstanding early to mid-career health and medical researchers.

Dr Calear is working in the areas of youth mental health, e-health and the prevention and early intervention of anxiety, depression and suicide. Alison is currently leading an evaluation of the Sources of Strength suicide prevention peer leadership program in Australian schools.
