About
Ms. Atitegeb Kidie is currently pursuing a PhD at the Australian National University in Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health and a Master of Public Health, specializing in Biostatistics. She is supervised by Uday Yadav and Dr. Tehzeeb Zulfiqar. She holds an extensive experience in both research for six years and teaching for nine years at higher education institutions in Ethiopia. Her expertise spans advanced study design and statistical analysis, including machine learning and big-data methodologies. She applies these approaches across a broad range of health domains, particularly communicable and non-communicable diseases such as HIV, mental health, maternal and child health, and nutrition-related research. She has published over 50 peer-reviewed research publications in esteemed academic journals, serving as a primary, senior, and co-author. Her research interests are focusing on chronic disease management, epidemiology, and health systems research, employing advanced methodological approaches.
