Implementation Science for Glocal Health (IS4GloH)
Working with health systems and local communities to translate evidence into actions for better health.
About
The ANU Implementation Science for Glocal Health (IS4GloH) advances implementation science to apply evidence-based interventions (EBIs) in local and global contexts. With extensive experience across Australia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the USA, IS4GloH works at the health system and population levels (including a focus on Indigenous and disadvantaged communities). Our transdisciplinary team bridges research, policy, and real-world practice, using rigorous, context-sensitive, and equity-focused methods for sustainable impact.
Through knowledge exchange, we ensure that communities and lived experiences shape EBIs through co-design, implementation, and evaluation. Our collaborations with community partners, health practitioners, governments, NGOs, and academic institutions drive:
- Translating evidence into action for better health and implementation outcomes.
- Generating evidence to inform policy and practice.
- Building capacity in implementation science research and evaluation.
- Promoting equitable, inclusive health and social systems transformation.
We believe in the power of collaboration, leveraging interdisciplinary knowledge to shape the next generation of glocal health leaders and create a lasting impact.
