About

The ANU Implementation Science for Glocal Health (IS4GloH) advances implementation science to apply evidence-based interventions (EBIs) in local and global contexts. With extensive experience across Australia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the USA, IS4GloH works at the health system and population levels (including a focus on Indigenous and disadvantaged communities). Our transdisciplinary team bridges research, policy, and real-world practice, using rigorous, context-sensitive, and equity-focused methods for sustainable impact.

Through knowledge exchange, we ensure that communities and lived experiences shape EBIs through co-design, implementation, and evaluation. Our collaborations with community partners, health practitioners, governments, NGOs, and academic institutions drive:

  • Translating evidence into action for better health and implementation outcomes.
  • Generating evidence to inform policy and practice.
  • Building capacity in implementation science research and evaluation.
  • Promoting equitable, inclusive health and social systems transformation.

We believe in the power of collaboration, leveraging interdisciplinary knowledge to shape the next generation of glocal health leaders and create a lasting impact.
