About

Dean is a Master of Applied Epidemiology (MAE) scholar in the 2024-25 cohort with a placement within the National Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing Research (NCATSIWR).

Prior to the MAE, Dean worked as a research assistant at NCATSIWR and in clinical support to the cardiac team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Dean is a medical science gradate from the University of Sydney.

Dean’s areas of interest include Indigenous health and wellbeing, health inequities, youth and young people’s health and chronic disease.
