Thea Sievers is a Project Officer within the Culture and Wellbeing Research team at Yardhara Walani. She is an Aboriginal (Awabakal) woman with a Bachelor of Criminology, a Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology), and a Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Studies.

Thea brings a diverse skill set developed through her experience working at a higher-education peak body and within universities. Her capabilities include project management, report compilation and writing, data collection and analysis, policy development, submission writing, and administration.

Thea is the secretary for Maiam nayri Wingara Pty Ltd and the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Higher Education Consortium (NATSIHEC). She is also a participant in the Australian Indigenous Governance Institute’s Emerging Directors program 2025/26.
