About
Dr Tamara Riley is a Wiradjuri woman with family ties to Western NSW. Tamara is a Research Fellow within Yardhura Walani – the National Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing Research at the ANU – where she completed her PhD. She has also been a Visiting Scholar at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and The Roslin Institute at the University of Edinburgh. Tamara is a Veterinarian and Epidemiologist, and she conducts interdisciplinary research focusing on the implications of One Health (the relationship between animal, human and environmental health) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
