About
A primary focus for this research program is the contemporary predicament of work and care and its health consequences. We investigate how these determinants and their health consequences are socially patterned, gendered, and intergenerational (children’s health and wellbeing). This work has inspired a new theory of time and time scarcity as a determinant of health and health inequalities. Our research uses a range of methodologies, quantitative and qualitative.
