Dr Anne Parkinson is a sociologist and health services researcher with expertise in qualitative research. She has worked at ANU since mid-2012, first with the Australian Primary Health Care Institute (APHCRI) until its closure in 2015 and later with the Department of Health Services Research and Policy (DHSR&P), which is now part of the Department of Health Economics Wellbeing and Society (DHEWS), National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health (NCEPH). 
Anne is currently working as a member of the Health Experience Team led by Assoc Prof Jane Desborough which focuses on embedding the perspectives and experiences of people living with MS and other chronic conditions  including their families and carers in all aspects of research.
