About

Dr Tehzeeb Zulfiqar is a Fellow and Senior Lecturer at the National Centre of Epidemiology and Population Health at the ANU. 

Tehzeeb has over 30 years of experience working on policy in Pakistan and Australia. She has been involved in numerous evaluations and implementation science projects such as evaluation of Australian Pathogen genomic program (2022-2025), now in phase 2 (2026-2029), monitoring and evaluation of Bacterial Entropathy and Nutrition (BEN) study in Timor Leste; evaluation of use of Gen-AI in health and medicine studies. 

Tehzeeb also teaches Research Design and Method, Outbreak invesitigation and Public Health Surveillance. She also contributes to teaching in Climate change, Global health and Society health & culture. She was previously a tutor at the ANU Medical school for 8 years for problem-based-learning and Population Health.

Tehzeeb is currently an adjunct Associate Professor at the Health Services Academy, Pakistan. Her teaching experience include Family Medicine, Public Health Nutrition and Life Style Medicine, and Public Health. 

Tehzeeb holds a Doctorate and a Master’s in Public Health from the ANU. She also holds a Regional Diploma of Family Medicine, MPhil in reproductive Physiology, MSc in Community Nutrition and MBBS from Pakistan.
