About

Climate Change Health

The NCEPH Climate Change Health Group aims to advance rigorous climate‑related health risk assessment and adaptation research, and to support scientific evidence translated into effective climate and health policy and practice. Our work supports the well-being of the Australian population and contributes to global efforts to protect health in a changing climate.

Our work centres on risk assessment and adaptation for healthier communities and more resilient health systems. Key areas include:
  • Heat
  • Bushfires
  • Flood
  • Drought
  • Air Pollution
  • Other extreme weather events

We are seeking motivated students interested in undertaking research on climate change and health in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Australia, and global contexts.
