Health Systems Strengthening
The Health Systems Strengthening research group works with governments and international organisations to strengthen health systems to respond to established and emerging disease threats.
About
Our group works with governments and international organisations across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region to strengthen health systems to respond to established and emerging disease threats. We work through regional partnerships to conduct research which addresses the building blocks of health systems. We focus on capacity building, particularly in regional primary health care systems, and applied epidemiology workforces, and strengthening health information systems to produce evidence for monitoring and evaluation. Our team comprises epidemiology, social science, implementation science and health system expertise and is built on strong collaborations locally and regionally.
