About

Linked data are electronic data about the same person or entity that have been brought together from two or more different sources to create a rich dataset. Our team implement innovative methods and processes to optimise the availability and use of these data to address key population health issues in Australia.

Projects span a wide range of topics, including measuring and monitoring health inequalities, evaluating health care policies and quantifying the harms of environmental exposures.

Our team members have wide-ranging skills, including in epidemiology, biostatistics, data analytics, health services research and health economics.

Much of our work involves collaboration with government agencies, including Australian Bureau of Statistics, Australian Institute of Health and Welfare and the Department of Health and Aged Care.

Projects

This project uses linked data to understand the socio-demographic cohorts in the COVID-19 vaccine strategy, COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness in the Australian population, and the fatal burden of COVID-19 in residential aged care homes in Australia.

This project is an update Data Linkage component of the ACT Asbestos Health Study conducted in 2015.
