The project will: quantify socioeconomic variation in fatal burden of disease; develop an ‘Index of Preventive Potential’ across major causes of death, to focus/prioritise interventions; quantify inter-relations between socioeconomic disadvantage, gender and rurality; and quantify variation in CVD prevention and end-of-life care.
